When in Doubt, Blame America First

Peace group blames U.S., U.K. for Iraq hostages

News of their abduction broke yesterday, but this morning MSN has that headline.

There are more telling quotes inside:
“We are angry because what has happened to our teammates is the result of the actions of the U.S. and U.K. government due to the illegal attack on Iraq and the continuing occupation and oppression of its people,” the group said.

The group listed the names of those abducted as Tom Fox, 54, of Clearbrook, Va.; Norman Kember, 74, of London; James Loney, 41, of Toronto, Canada; and Harmeet Singh Sooden, 32, of Canada

Are the kidnappers responsible? Nope. Are the activists responsible for being in a war zone assuming their good intentions would keep them safe? Nope. Instead it's all Bush's fault; he made us come here and forced the terrorists to kidnap them.

Nevermind that terrorism like this is what's keeping us there.
